Hello fellow shopaholics!
If somehow you haven't heard the words pumpkin spice, seen the color change in the leaves, or spotted pumpkins at the store yet- I'm here to tell you fall is here & it is in full force.
Pumpkin spice- have you tried it? It's a flavor that seems to monopolize all other flavors every fall season. It's in coffee, bread, cocktails, dessert, & so many other things. Once it is available for the season, no matter where you go, you're almost guaranteed to have a pumpkin spiced option somewhere on the menu.
Call me basic, but it is one of my favorite parts of fall. I am a sucker for skinny, dirty, pumpkin spiced chai lattes, even if it is a mouthful to say to the barista at 6:30 AM when I am still waking up- haha.
If you haven't given it a try, I definitely recommend getting a taste before it is gone for the season till next year! If you don't end up liking whatever it is, just pass it my way.
One of my favorite things about fall is pumpkin patches & apple orchards. They can make for a fun date, a photo opp, or chance to get your fall dose of cider donuts in. If you are located in or near Kansas & are looking for a good one, my personal favorite is the Louisburg Cider Mill.
Here you can test your skills at the corn maze, pick out a pumpkin to take home, feed goats, jump on a trampoline, & purchase locally sourced goodies from the country store. My favorites are the cider slushies & donuts.
Next on the list of wonderful things that come with fall are the clothes. Not only are they cozy & cute, but all the fall colors go well together which makes layering weather & fashion friendly. Being able to cover my legs & arms also makes me feel more comfortable than I am in the summer, because I am one pale girl even after attempting to get a slight tan.
My favorite clothing pieces to have around during fall are beanies, flannels, booties, a worn-in jean jacket, & cute jeans. My fall must haves are all linked under the fashion tab! :-)
What are some of your favorite fall staple pieces & places to shop
While there may be many wonderful things some of us enjoy & look forwards to during the fall season... With less sunshine, an excuse to stay inside to avoid the cold, & maybe not having as many loved ones as others' to enjoy the holiday's with- going into the colder seasons may not be as exciting to some individuals. That being said, check in on your friends & loved ones to make sure they are hanging in there, drop off a cider donut, or maybe plan an evening to carve pumpkins or watch spooky movies. :-)
Whether you are a pumpkin spice lover, flannel & beanie fanatic, corn maze master, or lover of all things fall related- I wish you the best fall season yet. I would love to know what some of your favorite fall foods, clothes, or activities are in the forum below!
Till next time,
