I've never felt a sense of commitment to an eye cream before, but there's a first time for everything right? I can't quite describe the sentiment of discovering a brand so pure and fabulous that you know you've found a company dedicated to the art of good skin!

The thing I find funny about this is that it's called Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream, but Avocado Oil is much higher up on the ingredients list that kiwi seed oil! I'm not complaining though. Whatever works; and this definitely does!

This is an enormous tub of eye cream too. The reason I picked it up was that I had been experimenting on using ALL my skincare ALL over my face. Which means that I was using my serum and moisturiser on my undereye area too. Tip: Not a good idea at all! About 2 weeks after kicking this off, my undereye area erupted in millia! What is millia? It's like death for your undereyes! They're those little oil seed looking spots which pop up. They don't hurt, but they are so unsightly and your undereyes definitely don't feel smooth and even, and it shoes, even if you wear concealer. The horror! So, what's there to do but go natural, right?

So, what's in here exactly? All the good stuff! Avocado oil, glycerin, vitamin E, carrot oil, kiwiseed fruit oil, etc. There is alcohol in here, but it's coconut-derived, and it definitely had no negative effects on me.

Let's talk about aesthetics for a moment. As with all things Antipodes, this comes packaged in a very apothecary-esque manner. The packaging is so simple, and comes in a nice, weighty glass jar. It's got 30 ml of product in there, which is a crazy amount of eye cream!

With all those oils in there, you would think that it would be a thick, gloopy consistency, but it's absolutely not! It's a very thin, but easily absorbed formula that moisturises very intensely, without being heavy on the skin.

This is truly a fantastic product, and my favourite eye cream ever! My only issue with it is that it costs RM178, and it's far too much product for me to use up. Thankfully I got this at 25% off at TNS during the month of my birthday. I used this twice a day, but with the 6 month time limit on all Antipodes products, I simply could not use this up; and even with my nature of playing guinea pig, I draw the line at using expired eye creams.

So, what do you do with left over eye cream? Use it as cuticle cream! It works absolute wonders! That's precisely how I used this stuff up, and my cuticles were lovely and nourished! I do wish they would make this smaller and sell it for less, but either way, it's an absolutely fabulous eye cream and if it's in your price point, definitely pick it up!

    1. I have the same problem. Usually it's because we can't exfoliate our undereye area the way we do for the rest of our face. The dead skin cells can get trapped and clog pores there. Sun damage is also a factor. It hardens skin, causing dead skin cells to get trapped and clog pores. I find that if I exfoliate with my konjac sponge around my eye area regularly, the milia gets a lot better! Worth a shot!

    3. I bought mine from Luxola when they had their sale so it was around RM20. It's the best exfoliator for sensitive skin and the only one that's fine for the eyes. The brand is Konjac Sponge Company

    1. I certainly didn't regret it. I would wait for a sale, but I would get it again. Once in a blue moon, Hishop is 40% off. That would be the time to pick it up. It's only because it's so expensive that I checked how to get the most out of it once it expired lol
