Yes, more dry shampoo! It's one of the best inventions ever. Truly!

[Alterna's Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Dry Shampoo]

This retails at about RM70, and is sold in Sephora.

As with all the dry shampoos I use, this is in spray form, as opposed to powdered form, which I don't have the inclination to use.

So, how does this fare? It definitely soaks up the oils and give volume, but this is the most drying dry shampoo I've used. If you're planning to tease your hair, this would definitely work to aid you in that, but I'm generally not a fan of it. It's far too drying on my hair, and it leaves me a little uncomfortable. All this is really sad because I love the fact that it smells like cucumbers, which means that it leaves your hair smelling extremely fresh!

Personally, I'm not at all a fan of this, but it's lasted an obscene amount of time even with extremely liberal use. If you're someone who enjoys styling your hair, you will undoubtedly love this more than I do because I've read extremely positive reviews about it. For someone who just wants to keep their hair clean because they woke up a little late, this won't do because I feel like I need to use a clarifying shampoo whenever I come into contact with this.

Never again!

  1. I keep forgetting to get some dry shampoo and every time I read another dry shampoo review by you I remember that I need one. You're going to have to tattoo it onto my wrist. My flat head will thank you for it.

    1. Your hair looked so nice and shiny when I saw you! Steer clear of this though because it will kill the shine! For volume, I think dry shampoo is far better than murdering your hair with unnecessary chemicals and teasing. Plus, it takes far less effort and time, and negates the need for a wash. Laziness 100 - 0 Effort!
