[Vanity Trove]

I never go to experience the Beauty Box concept of Vanity Trove because I was too late, but they recently switched up to a pick-you-own-samples model...just like ModBox. In a way, this is terrific because you get to try stuff you really want to. Sometimes the element of surprise is a little too surprising, as I have recently discovered.

First off, let's talk about how pretty this box is. It's so well structured and sleek that it makes you feel pampered just looking at it.

It's even wrapped up in plastic to ensure additional security since this is truly a trove where the box of contents slides out completely.

[Vouchers and Information Leaflets]

I really do like the fact that they provide information on the products specific to your purchase.

[My choice of samples]

[Timeless Truth's Orchid Extract Replenishing Mask]

I've heard so much about these masks that I figure it's time to actually try one out and see what the fuss is all about. It looks nice, feels weighty and the sight of it is calming. I shall report back on the scientific testing that is to follow.

[Talika's Lipocils Expert]

This was what induced me to purchase this box. I've been eyeing Talika for years now and I'm really glad I finally get to try it out. It's supposed to strengthen, lengthen and volumise your lashes naturally. Basically everything mascara does, without wearing mascara. It's expensive though as a product, so it's worth testing out first. On the packaging, however, it states there this specific step is meant for the lashline, while there is another step for the lashes itself which looks like a mascara wand. I didn't get that so I'm not sure if it's an oversight or they are going to introduce that to the Trove next.

[Avene's Rich Hydrating Creme]

[Avene's Gentle Gel Cleanser]

I've yet to try Avene's skincare, so what better time than now to start?

[Radial's Dragon's Blood Sculpting Gel]

I've heard so much about this that it had to be done. I'm still researching the most effective method of use so I will report back once I've figured and tried this out.

[Decleor's Hydra Floral Moisturiser]

I have 3 of these at this point, and it really is a good product.

Overall, for RM50, this is an incredible bargain. The samples are all of really good size...deluxe samples basically, and they actually give you to opportunity to try the stuff out properly before purchasing the full size. I really hate samples in sachet because there usually isn't even enough for one use.

The selection changes up regularly, so keep checking their site out.

  1. Oh, you got the Dragon's Blood! I refuse to buy VT until they drain the blood from more dragons.

    1. Hahaha I completely agree. The moment I saw that both Dragon's Blood & Talika were available, I couldn't stop myself. Autopilot payment mode: Activated!
