[Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum]

This is the old packaging, and without doubt, the new stuff is much, much better. So, when it was released, of course, I became more diligent in my bid to use this us so that I have a valid reason to get it.

Why is it awesome? Don't question me. I'm always right.

Seriously though, go to any Estee Lauder counter and ask them to let you try this stuff out. You will feel an immediate difference in the softness of your skin.

But first, let's discuss how it works.

It comes with a dropper so that you can use an appropriate amount. The aim is to fill the dropper with the serum, start off with 3-4 drops on the tips of your fingers and warm them gently by rubbing your fingers together. Then, you start at the sides of your nose and work your way up to just under the bone below your under eye area, and down to your chin. This should be done in a heart-shaped manner, basically. Then, pat the rest of the serum over your cheeks.

Next, use whatever is left on the vial to warm between your fingertips once again, and start along the line of your nose, up to your forehead, down to your temples and down below your chin. This too is meant to be done in a heart-shaped movement. Use whatever remains on your fingers to cover the rest of your forehead and your neck.

This stuff really is quite lovely. It sinks in quickly and you will feel the difference in your skin literally overnight. It softens and plumps up your face to make you feel like you have healthy skin.

Very, very lovely.

While this is labelled as a night repair serum, it's not an issue to use it during the day. In fact, it's recommended for use twice a day. What it aims to do is heal the skin due to the effects of not getting enough sleep. We all know I need this badly.

The new formulation is far more potent and sinks in a lot quicker.

I do love this stuff. If you're in the market for a new serum, this is definitely one to look into. Go to a counter and ask for a sample to try it out. You won't regret it.
