[WonderBox - June 2013]

When I was reading up on this box, it got mixed reviews, so I bought just one box to see how I personally feel about it.

The packaging was definitely a great start. With it's terrific quality and cream-black colour scheme, it's definitely a keeper for future storage needs. It helps that there is a pattern embossed directly onto the box and the purple ribbon is a delightful pop of colour.

[Product Description Sheet]

[So pretty!]

[And the contents...]

[Murad's Exfoliating Pomegranate Mask]

As I mentioned in my post on the CosmoBox, Murad has been on my list of things to try and masks are a particular favourite because nothing feels quite as indulgent and soothing. I've also noticed a trend of exfoliating masks and toners on the market, so it would be interesting to see how this compares. The product description on this states that it balances combination skin so I have high hopes!

[Beautymate's Purifying and Hydrating Nano Toner]

I've never heard of this brand and the entire packaging is in mandarin, so I'm quite happy at the extensive product description of this. It claims to brighten skin tone and balance the pH value as well as facilitating faster ingredient absorption. If all this is true, then it would be the perfect toner to use prior to a thick moisturiser to get all the benefits. I do love my toners so this would be worth a try. It's a rather hefty full-sized product so it will last a while but as with all toners, you see the best results after a scrub. I shall give it a whirl and check in with a review.

[Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Night Concentrate Sleeping Pack]

I love it! I've been getting increasingly more obsessed with sleep masks after trying another product I received in a different beauty box and was contemplating the purchase of something to that effect. This is a full-sized product and couldn't have come at a better time. What's great is that it aids hydration which I desperately need for my skin. Since I have combination/oily skin, it tends to lose hydration because oil naturally blocks off water. Also, because science...Damn you oil!

[Ginvera's Whitening Marvel Gel]

This is the second sample sized tube of this I've received. The first was with a beauty box in London and I've yet to try it. So far it has mixed reviews but I don't trust humans so I shall test it out for myself. It's always good to have a space, but sharing is also caring so if you would like one, let me know.

[L'Oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Shampoo and Masque]

This year, argan oil is all the rage, and I have sucked in by the craze as will be expressed by future posts on my obsessive Moroccan Oil and Caudalie purchases. This looks reasonably promising though and since CosmoBox provided me with another of the masks, I have an extra of that too. If it's good I'm keeping it...if it's not someone else is welcome to try it as it might fair better for them. I'm really quite excited about trying these out. L'Oreal is rather consistent in the quality of their hair products so high hopes are present.

Overall, I'm really happy with this box. I do have duplicates, but that is because I have obsessively subscribed to too many beauty boxes and not the fault of WonderBox. But they are good duplicates, so I'm really not complaining. The Ginvera gel is not on the product description list so I'm not sure if they just threw it in as a bonus or it's supposed to be part of the box. Other reviews (yes, I couldn't help myself and peeked before I received my box) have stated that the Neutrogena Sleeping Pack and Ginvera gel have been in previous beauty boxes so there was some outrage at WonderBox for that. Either way, it looks like I'll be subscribing again because I'm really quite pleased. When you get a box full of stuff you are excited to try out, it can only be a good sign.

This box costs RM45 and Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly and Annual subscription plans are available.
