Yes, finally. This is going to be my last post for the myriad cosmetics I purchased while in London. Even I thought it would never end. But here it is. Now I just have to buy more stuff to fill this blog up. Kidding! Maybe.

It bears note that most of this stuff was on offer where you buy one thing and you get a second at 50% off in both Boots and Superdrug. This made it extremely worth going crazy over.

[Superdrug Haul]

[Boots Haul]

Let's look at the less insane of the two first: Superdrug.

[Simple's Cleansing Wipes (Travel Pack)]

These are quite self-explanatory. They are by far the best wipes ever and I really hope they start selling them in jumbo packs. This is just a pack of 7 for short trips and it's perfect!

[B. Pure's Micellar Water]

It's not even a secret that this was an impulse buy. A friend was getting it and at that moment I felt that my life was just incomplete without it. I was right. This stuff is amazing! It's supposed to function as a cleanser and toner (for us lazy people), and it really does work. If you're too lazy to wash your face at night, all you need to do is grab a cleansing wipe to remove your makeup, pour some of this stuff onto a square of cotton and sweep it over your face, then moisturise. It's amazing! It's quite gross how much dirt comes off even after you've used makeup wipes, so it teaches you that you really do need to cleanse your face. This is the answer!

[Olay's Daily Facial Cloths]

I still haven't opened these, but I think they are just mildly exfoliating pieces of cotton due to their structure. Apparently I felt that I needed two, and I probably do because I'm having an affair with these sorts of things these days.

[Superdrug's Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser]

I love the idea of this, and I also love the fact that it comes with a muslin cloth! I used it as a cleanse (without the cloth) and it was decent enough, but didn't spur me on to use it on its own again. We shall see how it goes with the cloth later on.

[Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder]

This is a product I have heard rave reviews about for ages now and I figured it might b time to give it a shot. I'm so, so glad I did. It's an absolutely terrific powder. If you get oily, this will help combat it a touch more than other powders. LOVE! It's not a powder that ends up looking cakey either. It's literally the perfect mattifying powder out there. Give it a shot if you are combination/oily or just oily. Without a doubt one of the best investments you will ever make.

[Revlon's Radiant]

I really don't know why I'm suddenly into glitter. My entire life has been the antithesis to glitter. I'm just going to blame it on a quarter-life crisis. But this is an extremely pretty blue glitter with differing sizes and specks to allow for a much more textured finish. It would be perfect over a black, silver or deep purple shade.

[Revlon's Girly]

This truly is the most perfect name for this shade. It's bubblegum pink with multicoloured glitter in it. So, so pretty! Just look at it! Even my nephew told me the glitter was pretty. And we all know that 5 year old boys don't lie about such things!

Now, on to the madness that Boots brings out in me:

Firstly, I had no idea up until the day before I went in search of this stuff that Soap & Glory started an extensive line of makeup. A few years ago, I did try their Sexy Mother Pucker line of lip glosses, but I wasn't completely impressed by them because the plumping mechanism was actually quite painful. The colours and the texture were lovely though. I don't think I could express just how much I love Soap & Glory in all its other forms though! They make the most wonderful body care stuff, but makeup? Very curious indeed. I came across this fact randomly while perusing YouTube (while I was supposed to be doing work, no less), and there were rave reviews for all their products. So naturally I had to have them. I would also like to unequivocally state that I went to 7 different Boots before locating their Kick Ass Concealer at the Oxford Street branch. It was extremely stressful.

Now, down to business.

[Soap & Glory's Marvelips! in As Good as Nude]

This is an extremely interesting product. The white end is a slightly pearlescent highlight-worthy shade which will defines lips quite nicely, while the pink end is a lip crayon that very smooth and feels quite nice on the lips.

[Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer in Medium]

This! This was what I ran around London like a nutter looking for! The reviews on this (the few that I could fine) were absolutely stellar, and if nothing else, it was worth having for the packaging. But no, the product didn't disappoint even a little. And because I was slightly skeptical, it even surpassed expectations. I'll do a full review on this soon. But for now, if you see it, just get hold of it!

[Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks]

I know I mentioned Sexy Mother Pucker earlier, but in an unflattering manner, but these are different. These are gloss sticks, and they are to die for. Seriously. The formula is amazingly lovely and they aren't overly pigmented so they look somewhat natural...or as natural as makeup can be with some very pretty shine to them. I love them!

[Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker in Bashful]

[Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker in Raplumzel]

Yes, half of the reason I bought Raplumzel was for the name. I needed it. I did.

[Soap & Glory's Thick & Fast Mascara]

No, I just couldn't resist a 7-sided brush and all those promises. A red sticker with an award? I'm sold! I haven't tried this yet, but I'll do a review when I do. I'm hoarding it for when I feel like I need a present and a surprise.

That's all for Soap & Glory. Now on to other exciting tidbits from Rimmel:

[Rimmel's Match Perfection Concealer in Soft Beige]

This has mixed reviews, so I think I should try it for myself to judge. The jury is still out. There will be a review.

As for the Apocalips range, there are nowhere near enough raves about them! Absolutely amazing!

[Rimmel's Apocalips in Celestial (101)]

[Rimmel's Apocalips in Apocaliptic (303)]

[Rimmel's Apocalips in Big Bang (400)]

I cannot describe how terrific these are! Not only are the colours true to the packaging, they go on so smoothly and look absolutely gorgeous! It helps that they are quite moisturising for the product that they are, and that they are EXTREMELY long lasting. I love! So much!

Next, another product that YouTube sold to me:

[Collection's Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in Deep (4)]

Apparently only the really shady Boots branches carry this particular shade of this concealer, so I have no idea what that's about. But I have it! It has absolutely amazing reviews and it really is quite a fantastic concealer. However, I tested this against the Soap & Glory concealer, and this did not fare quite as well. It's almost there, but not quite. Still quite a fantastic concealer so I have no qualms about having both. I'll do a full review later on.

[Maybelline's Colorsensational Lip Liner in Intense Pink (140)]

[MacFactor's Lip Liner in Red Rush (10)]

Yes, I can't help it. The lip liner bug has bitten me. Where I once felt that I needed the perfect nude shade to go with everything, I now feel like I need everything to go with everything. Just put me away. Seriously,

Now, there's one item I forgot to photograph on its own, and it's foundation:

[Bourjois' Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in 56]

I saw a couple of reviews of this and since I need a new liquid foundation I thought it might be worth a shot. It's supposed to be a 16 hour wear and contain vitamin rich fruit essences such as lychees, goji berries and pomegranate. I like lychees and pomegranates, so this works for me!

Also, it's supposed to have a semi-matte finish so I'm quite excited about trying this out. Review definitely to come!

And, scene!
